GARYH
I was diagnosed with Islet Cell Cancer of the pancreas in September 1999 at
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Surgery was performed to remove my spleen and
correct internal bleeding issues associated with the tumor growth. The
tumor(s) itself was inoperable. I am currently using morphine to control pain
without chemotherapy or radiation. No other therapy is available at this
time. I am enjoying each day I have left more than I though was possible.
