Ever since i was little i have admired my Nana(which is what we call her). When i was young i used to follow her around the house and just watch her. Even now (im 15)i use the things she taught me in those early years. She's the most amazing woman i've ever met in my life. After her and my papa got back to Florida in September she started losing weight without a reason and she was feeling discomfort around her stomach area. What really concerned us was the fact that her father died young from pancreatic cancer so we all knew it was an option. After many tests they found out it was cancer. We were hoping that they would be able to do the whipple procedure on her but later we found out that wouldn't be an option. The only option we had was Chemo and radiation to try to buy her time. They now think that with the chemo and radiation she will have 8-12 months. That means that she wont be able to watch me graduate or get married. I wont get to visit her anymore. I only have up to a year to spend with her.
