LENA
Hi I am 41 and female, I was just diagnosised with PC 11/98. Treatment
started Nov 30 and ended Jan 18. I recieved 33 treatments of radiation
concurrent with 3-2hr treatments of Docetaxel. Treatment went well and was
off of the morphine for pain within the first 3 weeks, then I began to get
really sick with vomiting and diareha. I am recovering nicely have a CT Scan
on Monday March 1, Starting to experience some pain so I don't know if the
tumor is gone I suspect not. My Dad died 30 years ago of this same disease.
John Hopkins wanted to do a surgery to remove my pancrease that is how I
found this site. Actually when I was waiting to hear results that I already
knew. I have been telling my Dr for 3 years something was wrong. He
diagnosis every thing around PC. Anyway I chose not to have surgery because I
want quality life for what time I have left. This is not a fun disease. And
my husband & I are taking things a day at a time. Anyone can feel free to
email me. Lena
