DADDY


About a year ago my Daddy (Jack) had pain in his chest. He went in to the hospital and they removed his gullbladder.. He worked for a long time with the pain .Finally he started going back to the hospitalhe has a history of cancer. In 91 he had cancer in his bladder which was completley put in remission.. In 99 it returned in his kidney which he had removed. After being in and out of hospital diagnosed with pancreitis 3 or 4 times. he started asking them to check for the cancer he was told no, thats not what your here for. He finally went to a different hospital and didnt tell them about the pancreitis and asked them to check for the cancer and they found the PC that was the beginning of Jan. 03. I couldnt believe the statistics i found on here for PC. It has devastated me. My Daddy is the most important person in my life. His spirits are wonderful.If he gets down we will be there for him. This is helping the rest of the family. I havent found a way to deal with this yet..I am spending as much time with him as I can, and trying to help my mother as much as much as I can. He is going to begin radiation and chemotherapy this Monday. Does anyone have information about the therapy? We know the side affects but do most people get them? Do most people lose a lot of weight?
