Pancreas Cancer Web
PC
HI, my step father who is 62 years old was just recently diagnosed with PC, 3
days ago. One year away from retirement, a healthy guy, does not smoke, and
enjoys life to the fullest. He is someone ie who is always there and ready to
lend the helping hand.
I am/was not even to aware of the disease, that sucha thing even existed.
He will be going to meet with a surgeon this next week to see what treatments
will be best for him. I am so scared as far as what is about to happen. I am
looking for advice from anyone who has been in my shoes, who has dealt with
learning that someone they love has been diagnosed with PC. I even feel weird
when I talk to him now, of course I KNOW I should not, I am so sorry for him,
feel so abd for what he has to go through.
Thanks to all of you who have put postings on here, its noce to know others
are out there with the same obstacles.
I hope to hear from any one with any advice, or any one who would like to
talk.
