BABY BIRD
My brother (baby bird) Joe 40 yr old Male Passed away 18 short days after dx.
PC-mets to the liver. He died 3-27-01. Not much to tell. Joey stared lossing
weight in Jan-01 With discomfort in his abdomen. Doctors did the Standerd
tests. Ulser,Gallbladder, upper&lower GI all came up negitive. In Jan. he had
a bad bleeding incident from the mouth and rectum. They had no idea where it
was comming from. Finally found a doc that showed some interest in his case
and then found pc-mets to the liver. Joe died 18 days after dx. He bled to
death. He did not want a atopsy(sp) So we will never really know what did
happen. We all miss him dearly.
I just wanted to add. If anyone knows of anyone or might have any thoughts
of where the bleeding came from or what might have caused it I would be so
happy to hear from you.
