The first step is to prepare for your appointment.

The second step is to be seen in the Multidisciplinary Pancreatic Cancer Clinic, which will coordinate visits with multiple specialties. In one day, patients will:

1. Receive the necessary tests (imaging, labs, etc.)
2. Attend an educational session outlining available support services
3. Learn about conventional and investigational treatment options
4. Have their case presented to experts from each discipline
5. Receive counseling regarding the next step for their treatment
6. Learn about opportunities to participate in research studies at Johns Hopkins

Our team of experts will meet to discuss your cases and treatment options. These options will then be discussed with you and your family and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.

At the end of the day, you can be scheduled for treatment at Johns Hopkins or you may choose to seek treatment closer to home based on the consensus recommendations reached by the team.

The overall goals of the clinic are to:

• Deliver accurate data-based recommendations
• Offer innovative treatment options with the hope of improving the quality of life and overall survival
