Pamh - I'm curious about the mesh stents you mentioned - is this an invasive or a simple proceedure to have performed? I've gathered that it's for bowel obstructions, but can it be used for obstructions caused by tumors? That's what my Dad has right now and one surgeon told him that he wouldn't do any form of any surgery on him - just let him die on a liquid diet.. :-P Thanks for any information.
