In your search for a suitable trial, don't just go to the website for clinical trials, also go to the websites of the manufacturers if its a drug, or to whomever is sponsoring the trial. There is more information at the homepages, and you can also find out about compassionate use. You can request information to keep on hand in case one should not work out for you. I have found that the sites that let you know where a trial is being conducted are very informative, but its no place to end your search. Each trial has several different protocals, one which you may qualify for. You may also find that even though there may not be a protocal available to you now, there may be one next week (I am not telling you to wait by any means) but the sponsor of the trial can give you this information. If you run into problems let me know.
