heather, my mom has pc and had a pulmonary blood clot right after she finished her first round of chemo and radiation. has been on coumadin ever since, her docs say unsafe to take her off. she never coughed up any blood though, just very severe pain. it was misdiagnosed for a few days, sort of stumbled upon it! what your mom is going thru sounds serious, i would pressure the doctors to investigate further. they make mistakes too! we were told that blood clots are a sympton of pc, so they should be more concerned. good luck to you and your mom, if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. cindy
