My Grandmother is 87---tonight, here, I discovered that when she had jandiced in June of 95 and her ducts were blocked that it was PC. Apparently the Dr. did the Whipple procedure and all he said was--her pancreas is a bit hard. Last Nov. she started coughing up blood and again to sugery. Last month he did more tests(because of her weight loss) and told her she had cancer---though pancreas cancer is too much for her to deal with. With much pain in her back, down to 98 lbs., occasional vomiting, and great weakness,(still some good days tho) we have a trip planned to Cancun for October 17th. My fear is, something happening there, from what I've read here today I'm wondering now if we will even make the trip in 3 weeks. I consider it a miracle she survived the surgery back then---I just wish I had known when the doctor did so that I could have spent more time with her.
