GEORGE-AYN
George-Ayn is a 44 year-old active woman who has been stricken with this
horrible disease. She plays golf, has a brown belt in karate and loves to
bowl. She had a pain in the back that the doctors called "muscular
skeletal" after having a bout with bronchitis. She has seen several
doctors for this pain, and one doctor said he'd "eat his hat" if
this wasn't a muscular skeletal problem. The pain has gone for 6 months. She
was finally diagnosed this week with adenocarinoma of the pancreas. It is in
stage 4. It hasn't however spread anywhere else and it's not in the lymph
nodes. They are going to try various chemo's and radiation. If anyone can
help with alternative therapies, ie, where to get them, how do they work,
etc, etc. Please contact me at the above email addy. I live in the Boston
area. Toni
