platin drugs cause neuropathy. That neuropathy can also effect the nerves to the gastroentestinal system. You could try the drug gabapentin it works on nerve pain and also some of the b- vitamins help correct the neuropathy from the chemo and reverse it. There is also the possibility of him needing a stent in his duodenal area to allow the foods to pass thru. It is an expanding stent.
