At the tender age of 40, I was diagnosed in January 1994. Adenocarcinoma at the head of the pancreas; two positive lymph nodes. I had the Whipple at Thomas jefferson Univeristy Hospital followed up with 5FU and 28 radiation treatments. I have not had any recurrence but have had many health issues along the way.

I still have to watch what I eat. Today I am paying dearly for that wonderful porketta sandwich I ate last night. It was sooo good... :)

Warm regards,

JaneL
