It's very hard to see your own mom like that especially how she used to be
the one taking care of you. What I suggested to my dad which did have a
positive effect until there was nothing more we could do would be Megace.
It's a food stimulant and it helps make you hungry. I would say you are doing
the right thing by spending the time with your mom and doing the best you
can. My mom tried three types of different chemo and finally the strongest
one she was on during mother's day really took a toll on her that's when she
couldn't walk by herself and she didn't want to talk very long. Sometimes the
chemo can be just as deadly but it's all you can do. Did it spread to any of
her other organs?
