The time frame sounds about right to me. My boyfriend was still having problems and adjusting and 'tight' and slept more comfortably slightly elevated for about the first 3 or 4 months. Then all of a sudden he realized he felt pretty close to normal again, not exactly, but near enough to feel comfortable most of the time. It just takes a while. The spacing the enzymes is really a help. He takes 1 or 2 at the start of a meal, another 1 or 2 in the middle, and another 1 or 2 toward the end of the meal. Meals with more fats or fried foods require more enzyme so it'a a trial and error thing.
