Hi Sel, In response to your post: Ct of abd. showed possible enlargement of pancreatic head, but nothing demonstrable to diagnosetumor. Ca 19-9 was over 4000. GGT was slightly elevated at 72. All other tests were within normal limits--except that her HIDA scan ofliver, GB and bile ducts did not show a functioning gall bladder. Sheis not jaundiced--experiences change in sense of taste (poor appetite, but makes herself eat)-belching after eating, large amt. of flatus with passage of clay colored stools--abd. cramping and bloating associated with the flatus which she describes as upper right quadrant pain thatspreads over the abdomen with the cramping. Hope this helps you. Shehas been able to maintain her weight to this point, except that she iscertainly not gaining. BTW, she is a type II diabetic and is on insulinthree times daily.Carol
