pancreatic cancer tends to be a silent tumor until very far advanced. my husband has stage iv, and at the time of diagnosis, did not have any pain. his blood work continues to be normal. he has been on chemo for 6 weeks and it does not seem to be working either. he does not have long to live. each patient is different. - angi
