I was diagnosed with stage 2 pc in Oct 2007. It has been a battle as you all
know. I spent 2 months in the hospital due to numerous complications but
survived all of them and beat them all. I have a wonderful family that has
been there for me through it all. It wasn't until I got sick that I realized
the amount of caring I am surrounded by. I have so many people praying for
me that God is probably getting tired of the requests. I even have a family
friend who is a priest in the vatican praying for me. With all this support
I can let them down and I will win this battle. I am 53 year old female, and
have finished my 5fu regime and my radiation. I am currently on Gemzar till
July. My greatest caregiver is my husband Don who without I couldn't have
gotten this far. My youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia at 2 years old
and is now 30. I feel this prepared me for my current situation.
