Hello,

My Mother's Gallbladder is also inoperable at this time. They are trying chemo right now to shrink the tumor..then hopefully radiation if there is a response to the chemo...then hopefully the tumor will shrink for surgery. It seems like a waiting thing here. How is his bilirubin count? My Mother's stent helped her bili count, but we had to postpone chemo until her number came down. A few weeks seemed like an eternity. The fear that we've been told about resection was the likelyhood of the diseased gallbladder literally passing through non-diseased tissues and spreading the 'C word' to other organs in the cavity. Hope this helps. God Bless you and your family, Jennifer
