My chemo treatments consisted of a weekly IV drip (Gemzar) and one tablet (Tarceva 100mg) taken daily. After about the first six months, my oncologist cut my weekly IV drip to once every two weeks. In addition to normal chemo, I also met with a nutritionist and she developed a protocol based on my scans and blood work. I take appx 40 pills a day that basically strengthens my body to fight the cancer. The third and most important 'treatment' is prayer. I have hundreds, if not thousands, of people praying for me including a lady that I had never met who heard about my situation and calls each night to pray with and for me.
