You did the right thing. So many doctors look at the history of this disease and don't want to treat it. My husband's onc. was treating him for comfort and when the cancer spread to the liver wanted to stop. Quality of life thing. Well we fought for treatment and this week the cat scan showed nothing left to treat at this time. Fight as agressively as you can and know everything you can. It will be 2 years for us in April. Good Luck
