My mother just called tonight with the news that she may have pancreatic cancer. Her doctors don't know positively, so she will go to Tampa for further testing. The doctors say it could be cancer or some other disease of the pancreas. What does this mean? What kind of information should they be giving her? Where can I go to find out about pancreatic cancer? What questions should we be asking? My mother is 76 yrs. old, was in excellent health until recent problems with gall bladder and bile spillage into the liver. The only symptoms I know she had related to pc are abdominal pains, and nausea. Can anyone help me understand this better? Can anyone recommend good doctors (anywhere in US), can anyone give me positives? Thanks, Robin
