I haven't posted on this website for awhile. My father who was only 64 died of pancreatic cancer just 10 months after his diagnosis in 2005. On the anniversary of my dad's death, my best friend was diagnosed with it. She was able to have surgery which bought her one more year of life. She is now waiting to die with Hospice starting this week. She is only 67 & her daughter announced on Christmas Day that she was pregnant with my friend's very first grandchild which she has waited for her whole life. She will not live to see it born in July, so her daughter moved her sonogram up. It's a girl; a baby girl who will never know her fabulous grandma, because of this horrible disease which has taken two people I love. I hate this disease!
