I am a 30 year-old man and underwent Whipple operation at National Taiwan
University Hospital on Dec. 20, 1999. I did no get shocked when my Doc. told
me that it's diagnosed with Pancreatic Head Cancer. I think that life is
coming and going. When the time is coming I should be able to face it and
take the fact. Before the operation, I almost took all kinds of diagnostic
examinations and it took half a year. During this period, pains come to me
sometimes. Finally I had a fever for a week and that made me a quick decision
to take the surgery. Fortunately, it's still in an early stage and the
treament is successful. I don't need to take either Chemotherapy or
Radiation therapy. I am recovering well now and taking the follow-up
examination reguarly. Wish to be back to normal life as it was.
