I hate to even be thinking of myself right now...but I can't help but wonder and worry about things that I have heard about pc possibly being hereditary. My mother was diagnosed with inoperable pc at the age of 47. She has a twin as well and her dr. told her that her twin needed to be checked out asap. That scares me! I find myself constantly comparing the differences between my mother and myself...like she smoked almost her whole life and I never have, we both had our gallbladders removed at around the same age...ect...It just honestly scares the crap out of me!

Have any of you had any personal experiences with pancreatic cancer running in your family? This definitely inspires me to want to live a healthier life for myself and my children starting in 2008. Happy New Year!
