The fact that the doctor removed it will give him a good chance. Treatment is most important and you need to get the opinions of several TOP PC oncologist and then make your decision. I am a big fan of Gemzar and Taxotere as a combo, but there are other chemo's available and some pretty interesting trials as well. Do your research for dad, help him decide.

Places I would look at are Virgingia Mason and Dr. Vincent Picozzi in Seattle (get an opinion or go and do his Picozzi Protocal, hard but good results) MD Anderson. Research Dr. Fine also.
