Good to hear that your husband is likely operable. I would make sure you are getting advise from a doctor that is considered an expert in pancreatic cancer and at a high volume pancreatic cancer center. These are both very important. If you do not have both of those then please call Pancan and they will give you information on doctors and centers near you that can give you good advise.

As far as treatment after surgery, in most all cases you will be advised to receive treatment after surgery. Treatment varies between centers but you will likely have chemotherapy and possibly radiation as well.
