does everyone that has a whipple have chemo afterwards. my husband goes to see surgeon on thursday. they say the cancer is in the head of the pancreas and evidence suggest invasion into the second portion of the duodenum. when they say they think they can get all of it just what does that mean... will they say he only has so long. at first i thought it sounded so good when they said they could do surgery. now reading all the post i am not sure. his pain is getting worse. we do not have a surgery date yet. thanks for any help. i know no one has the answers . only god does. but thanks for any help.
