I hope it is a mistake. If your onc feels that it is why is he waiting 3 weeks?

Sorry to hear you got sick from the Gemzar/Tarceva. There are a lot of other chemo drugs out there (I have been on 8 so far). I would assume your onc would want to try some others. If you got the feeling that he is giving up on you ask him why? Some of these other chemo drugs may make you sick but some may not. There are also clinical trials-- I am in one that seems to be working. It is gene therapy. Because it is not chemo there are no side effects.
