Dearest Suzi, thank you so much for all your understanding and the information on chemo/blood counts. I guess this is just the beginning of a rollercoaster for us. I intend to e-mail you soon. My mom has been doing really good yesterday and today. She's feeling pretty good. Of course I don't mind at all about the pictures ! I'm sure your daughter will love them as much as I love mine. We took them in a beautiful park, and I had some done of just her for my brothers and sisters. My mom cr oss-stitched me a teapot runner (I collect teapots) that she signed. It is beautiful. She did it in a few weeks. She likes to sew while waiting at the hospitals/treatment centers and while she's not feeling well. It seems to help soothe and relax her. I even bought a sheet/pillow case set for my first child (I'm not pregnant - but my husband and I intended to try beginning this year before this happened -- we are trying to decide whether to go ahead and try). But, I wanted to do this so my mom could teach me and I could do something with her. It's worked out wonderfully. I really like it, and she of course wants to get as many stitches in as she can. I think it will be a wonderful present to my child/her grandchild someday. The she et has a prayer on it "Now I lay me down to sleep..." and the pillow case has an angel with hearts. My mom is stitching the angel. I will be more proud of this project that any I've ever or will ever do in my entire life. I hope you are feeling go od. I catch myself scanning through your postings to keep up with how you're doing all the time. You are such a tremendous inspiration to all that come here, especially me.
