I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but I'm not exactly positive about the course of the illness. We're dealing with a recurrence and I know the odds. What keeps me going is taking it one day at a time and cherishing every moment. I look for things to appreciate. I hunt for the joy in each day. I make sure I look it in the face and recognize it and take it in. I don't take one minute for granted. So even though I have a pretty good idea of what we're facing, the twist in perspective this whole deal has given me is a good thing.

I hope that makes some sense!
