I really sympathize with you and your dad. It's awful to be so helpless and on top of this really not quite understand what's going on. Just wanted to add that biopsies are sometimes extremely hard, even ct scan-guided. When they did mine, they onl y came up with a few cells that suggested adenocarcinoma. However when the surgeon did the exploratory, the CA was large and nonresectable. Try to keep your father's spirit up.
