Marc had the severe pain, diarrhea and episodes of n/v. We found that we have this recipe of meds, that goes like this; compazine (for n/v) dexamethasone (this works great for the n/v and to increase his appetite), lomotil (for diarrhea, three times daily with the compazine and oxycodone- for pain, and diarrhea). the standostatin, didn't seem to help, even at the max dose, so he stopped that, but the steroid (dexamethasone) which was 2mg/day, then 1mg/day, now 1mg every other day, or as needed, works the best. He also takes 5 to 6 Creons with meals, and that we increase from 3 per meal, until it started working. He still has to watch what he eats, and things he use to love, just can't be eaten, like kraut and sausage (boy, was I sorry the next day; he vomited all day!) Hope some of these might help. All my best. Marcie.
