In our case, Don was getting Procrit with his chemo pre-infusion for his anemia. Now he is relying on the Feosol tabs I give him every day since Chemo is over. For fluid retention he is taking both Lasix and Aldactone. Check on this if not doing it already. One pulls potassium from the system and the other compensates for that and both, together, help reduce the edema. Don's edema is already coming down, thank goodness.
