Something to try maybe... Mark has been on creon since his whipple in April 05. He has always been a thin man so any weight loss was noticable. Last year we tried something else. he had always taken the enzymes throughout his meals. The doc that he had back then told him to take them 30 minutes BEFORE he ate. Well he wasn't putting on weight either way and still had some issues with digestion. So he tried taking them right after his meal. This actually worked well for him! he gained almost 10 pounds and doesn't have the digestion issues anymore.

So just MAYBE Charlie could try changing when he takes them? Mark takes 3 or 4 after a big meal and 1 or 2 with snacks. I think like everything else with whipple patients it's a trial and error thing.

I'm sure that scan is fine or they would probably call you. You and Charlie are my heros! Cheers to continued success!!

Kim
