MY WIFE RECENTLTY HAD HER GALBLADDER AND APPENDIX OUT 4 WEEKS AGO, THEY RAN CA-125 SAID LEVEL WAS HIGH 74, 30 BEING MAX. THE DOCTOR RAN IT AGIAN WITH A CA 19-9 TEST,IT CAME BACK WITH A READING OF 240, THEY WERE SHOCKED AND RAN A PET SCAN AND IT WAS NEG. THEY WANT TO DO A TOTAL HYSTOREC. SO SURGEN WANTED HER TO TALK TO A ONOC. AND WE DID, SAID SHE HAD CYST. THAT HAD BURST BEFORE THEY TOOK OUT THE GAL. AND APPX., WHICH IS WHAT THE SURG. HAD SEEN DURING OPER. SAID CYST COULD GIVE A LOT OF DIFF. READING,SAID HAVE HSYT. THEN WILL RECHEK TEST IN 6 WEEKS AFTER. SO WE WENT TO HOUSTON TODAY TO TALK WITH SURG. WHO DID HER FATHERS PC. SURGERY, SAID HE AGREED WITH WHAT HER SURG. IN BEAUMONT SAID AND THE ONCO. SAID SHE WAS TOO YOUNG 44, BUT LOOK AT LEVELS 6 WEEKS AFTER SURG. UNDERSTOOD BECAUSE OF DAD PC CANCER. SO WE WERE COMING HOME CALLED DOCTOR TO SET UP HTST. SURG. , SAID THEY GOT CA-19-9 TEST FROM MONDAY AND IT UP 30 POINTS. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THESE TEST. ANY COMMENT WOULD HELP THANKS CHRIS
