I had been taking Hydrocodone (generic Lortab) for pancreatitis but the pain stull became unbearable resulting in several hospitalizations already this year. My physician switched my medication to Roxicodone for two reasons. It is much stronger, a llowing me to better manage the condition at home, and it has no Tylenol in it meaning that there is less risk to my liver when I take lots of medication (but only when the pancratitis is bad). The Roxicodone has been wonderful, and I recommend i t if your doctor will prescribe it.
