The problem is my mother who has OCD, a panic disorder, and is afraid of germs. She too has many medical problems including lymphoma, lymphadema, and a case of cellulitus. My father, brother, and myself, have ben trying to talk some sense into our mother to get treatment for her legs, but she will not listen to anyone. In a nut-shell she is sucking the life out of dad. He needs all of his energy to fight this thing and my mother's condition and lack of cooperation is putting my dad in a bad set of circumstances.
The guilt is getting to me. If we cannot get my mother's act together, I am afraid we may lose dad, I do not know what to do. We have tried to get her help, but she will not listen to anyone. Thanks for listening. My thoughts, prayers are with all who are fighting this horrible disease and are caring for family members. Keep up the fight. Where there is life there is hope. Thanks for letting me vent.
