My dad had this situation a few months back. They ONC on call told him to take magnesium citrate - but it wasn't prescription strength, picked it up at Walgreens. It took 6 hours to work but BOY did it work. I think you can take up to 400 mg of Ducolax daily - read their website. I'd say go for it, you got to be feeling miserable. Dad was on coumadin at the time as well - hemorrhoid thing was worrisome but he did just fine! At one time he was taking enulose (prescription) and when things got backed up he did a dose every hour until it became effective - sometimes took 4 - 6 doses.
