You are very, very fortunate to have caught this disease by accident, before it spread. As your doctor has probably told you already, people who have the Whipple procedure have the best chance of long-term survival. If the doctors were able to remo ve all of the tumor your chances are definitely better. Check the archives. There are stories in their of long-term survivors, and also a reference to a book that a man named White, I think, wrote. He posted here for a while. Sorry, I don't remem ber his first name right now. I wish you the best of luck! Mary
