I respect your right to your opinion, but if everyone believed as you did, there would be very few people offering to participate in clinical trials where new drugs and therapies are being tried in an effort to find a cure for this monstrous disease. Some people choose to fight to the end, and others choose to let go and let it happen naturally. That's their right. Those who wish to fight, though, shouldn't be made to feel that their fighting is somehow unaccepting of a natural way of death, IMHO. Your attitude reflects what thousands of PC patients are told every day, and many of them choose NOT to fight because the prognosis they receive is so negative. Perhaps the outlook isn't so hot right now, but we WILL make progress and eventually we WILL conquer this blasted disease, if investigators continue to try new things and patients continue to volunteer to see how they work.
