I read with interest the fact that you were married two months after your father-in-law's death. My wedding was (is) set for 9/2/00, but a few weeks ago my father was given a pc diagnosis with a life expectancy of 6-12 months. My fiance and I have considered ALL the options regarding having the wedding, cancelling the wedding, changing the date... and since we are older (43 and 52), we're not feeling the urgency to do something quickly. Afterall, my father has already walked me down the aisle, and my fiance and I have lived together for three years. Also, I'm not much in the party mood right now, and I can't imagine feeling any more festive as his condition worsens. I was hoping you'd write to tell me how you and your fiance made decisions about your wedding. Feel free to email me if you want some privacy. Thanks.
