I have to say, we were warned about this somewhat, at the hospital where my mom had her whipple. We were told there will be doctors in her future who don't want to touch her because they're afraid. Then there will be others who will be fascinated that she's a walking, talking, breathing PC/whipple patient, but the problem with them is, they don't understand how to treat her. It really can put you between a rock and a hard place.
