Seen the onc. for the first time today. He was not very enthusiastic about any treatment for my mom. She is down to 105 lbs. She is very weak and tired. He said he could start chemo but it would be so weak that he doesn't know if it would help her because she is weak and tired already. Has this happened to anyone? He suggested Hospice already. Is this a bad sign? He said radiation wouldn't be good. Please help.I don't know what to do for her now or what to say? Do I have the strength to help her through this? I can't see my mom having much time left. I'm so scared for her - I feel like I'm dying too! Any advice for me? Ya know, the drs. have been dragging their feet from the beginning. I guess this should have been a sign to us that the cancer is just progressed too far. It is in her liver and who knows where else? Are they just sparing our feelings by not telling us the dreadful outcome and time we have left with her? Why won't anyone say anything?Carole
