It hasn't been approved for pancreatic cancer but it is approved for lung cancer.... so if per chance your dr were looking to see if you had activity in some lung nodules he thought he saw on another scan and he was ruling out a second primary ... good luck. Lord bless creative billing tactics. I injuried my back once so bad I couldn't move my legs. I needed pre-approval for an mri for insurance coverage. The radiologist called and they wouldn't approve it right away, my dr called and they wouldn't approve it right away, they both talked to an insurance dr mind you. So they decided to do the mri and give the dr the results but would not put the date on the mri until they got the approval date, so thats creative billing. Thank the Lord for drs who will work with you.
