Hi Karen, As you know everyone responds differently to chemo. I am not sure if there are restrictions due to your Dad being diabetic, but I had no dietary restrictions. I even ate during chemo b/c I have this weird thing now that if I get hungry 'beware.' :) I packed snacks and they had snacks & sandwiches in the infusion rm. where I go. With regard to meds, I was prescribed Zofran for nausea, then switched to a generic form (can't remember the name) due to the expense of Zofran. I wish your Dad the best with his treatments!
