My father began feeling sick one month ago, in that time frame he has had renal failure, infection from biopsy, 2 stays in the hospital etc. We have found that he has a 2nd stage lymphoma, very large and aggressive. We are traveling to Hopkins clinic for a second opinion tomorrow. My question is. They have found cancer in the pancreas (which is 4xs its normal size), the spleen, kidney, stomach. He has gone down hill very quickly, unable to eat, fever etc. Very weak. He is only 65. Is this all normal, should we be upset tha it took 3 weeks to diagnose and shouldn't we be pushing for chemo asap. Also, how is it only stage 2. Dou you think Hopkins will say something else. So far has has been seen by Dr. Didolar at Sinai.

thanks for any help, I am hoping this will be a long road, but worried about chemo and potential surgery for a better biopsy, not sre he can handle it.
