Just wanted to know if anyone is on a clinical trial with a drug called AG (it stops the blood vessels from forming). My mom is going to start this trial hopefully soon. She will be taking this with Xeloda. She is Stage IV with mets to the lungs and was DX Oct. 05. She was on Gemzar/Tarceva & Xeloda since then. Her last scans showed some growth. We went to Dr. Weiner at Fox Chase and they are doing this trial. Originally, she was going to do Taxotere and AG but because she has been treated for Mets prior they won't allow her to do Taxotere. So she is doing the Xeloda. If anyone knows anything about this trial, I would love some feedback. Thanks and keep your fingers crossed.
