My dad too had artery and vein involvemnet and he too couldn't get a postitive diagnosis. The oncologist wouldn't start treatment and the GI Dr couldn't get a + we kept getting negatives. The surgeon was 99% sure it was cancer. It was a very frustratring time for our family!

It wasn't until my dad finally agreed to a surgical biopsy that they were able to get enough tissue to get a + diagnosis.

If you would like to read more about my dad's journey please goto www.caringbridge.org/visit/jimdeoria.

BTW my dad is coming up to 2 yrs post whipple!! Keep the hope!
